Explosion protection as the key to market approval
Products that are used in potentially explosive atmospheres (e.g. mines, hydrogen production plants or other potentially explosive substances) are subject to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU in the European Union. For manufacturers, this means that it is not possible to enter the market without proper ATEX certification. industrialpartners GmbH supports you with comprehensive advice throughout all phases of your product development – from the idea to the certified solution.
ATEX certification is divided into several coordinated phases.
The first step is to analyze the product for potential ignition sources and carry out a risk assessment in accordance with EN ISO 80079.
This is followed by the concept and design phase, in which suitable materials, protective measures and safety-relevant functions are planned. At the same time, the technical documentation is created, for example with an explosion protection document, ignition risk assessment and operating instructions.

Once you have passed the test, we will accompany you through to the issue of the EC type examination certificate and declaration of conformity – for smooth and safe market access.
